Please pray for Kevin. He is married to an abusive, controlling, mean-spirited wife who constantly rages and puts him down. He has a dangerous job, and comes home to a mile long list of household chores to do, plus caretaking the three children. His wife Trina does nothing but rage all the time. Their 3 children listen to it constantly and the middle child is also the target of Trina's rages. Please pray for GOD to intervene in this family, to give Kevin wisdom, direction, guidance, courage and strength to seek outside professional help for his situation, for the sake of all concerned.

Father, I pray first that Kevin is saved. That he has asked for and accepted the gift of salvation. If not Father, I ask that you stir up his heart to know that he needs a Savior and ask that Jesus enter his heart and guide his life. Father, please in your kindness...let Kevin seek and find a good bible believing church that can help him to understand who he is as a man in Christ Jesus. Much of what is written here exists because he is not exercising his rightful position as Spiritual head of this woman and of his home. Father, let him develop a hunger for your word and study it that he learns this and let him model his actions after your word. Father, a man is to leave his family of origin and cleave to his wife...however he is also to be the leader in the marriage and the wife is to submit to that leadership. Father, give Kevin the wisdom to insist that this wife and he see a christian counselor right away. His wife's behavior can become injurious to these children especially to the middle child who takes the brunt of the berating. Give Kevin clarity on these and any other issues that are of concern for him...and let him stand on your word and take control of his household. In Jesus name...Amen!

I ask Lord, that YOU Protect this marriage, for healing, that no negative influences outside of their marriage destroy it.
