I just want to give up. My parents have been going through a separation/divorce for almost a year now after being married for 25. My mom desepartely needs counceling to to work on her own issues before anything can be better between them. My father has been broken hearted and depressed now for almost a year. I am trying to finish up school and am very busy at work this passed year. I don't want to be selfish but I feel like this is my time to move out of my parents house, finish up school, work on my career and get married. My boyfriend and I have been together 4 years and talk about getting married but I can't see moving out of my house with my dad when all of this is going on. I am moving up at work but to overwhelmed to enjoy it or even put the energy into it needed.

My parents need to talk. My mom needs to see God again. After 25 years she needs to realize that it is worth it to sit down and have a conversation and put a little effort into their problems instead of giving up.

I just feel like giving up on everything school, work, relationships.

You need to realize it is not your responsibility to raise your parents who seem to be acting like children. I hope God could guide you to a counselor who could help you deal with these stresses and let you keep your life together.

Lord, please help this child to see that she is not responsible for her parents. Lord, I pray that You give this guest the strength to stand on her on. Please let this mother see that she needs You in her life. Please restore the love to this marriage. Help this guest not to base her own marriage on her parents. Help her husband- to- be and herself be blessed with a long and happy marriage. Always keeping You as the head of their house. In this I ask in Your name,Jesus.Amen.

Dear child of God,
Lord God, take control of the prevailing situation in this family. Lord let not satan play havoc in her parents married life, and also Lord guide this dear daughter in right path and reveal Your plans and thoughts to her Lord, let their family have reunion and walk in to their life and bind them with cords of love in Jesus name. Amen
Thus says the Lord Your Redeemer the Holy one of Israel. I am the Lord Your God who teaches you to profit who leads you by the way you should go.- Isa 48:17

Loving Father, please guide this young person to the help she needs to cope with her current situation. Lead her though her difficulties to a place of peace. Give her the hope and strength she needs to carry on with her life. In Jesus' name, according to your will, amen.
