Desperate for Prayer

Hello Ive been a christian for 2 years now and I'm going through something right now that's bugging me.I'm in a spiritual mess and cant exactly figure out how I got here.I know that I'm bitter and upset with God.I feel like I cant trust Him anymore.I know I shouldn't feel this way though. When I sin I don't feel genuine sorrow over it.I'm prideful and disobedient toward God.I'm also pretty rude to Him too.I know that I'm being this way because I went through a period of time when I thought God wanted me to do certain things but it turns out what I thought was God was really Satan trying to use legalism to ruin my relationship with God..and I feel like it did.I want to restore my relationship with Him but for some reason I keep procrastinating.I guess every time I think about going to Him I get reminded of all the feelings I had while doing legalistic things(fasting on/off almost daily for weeks, reading my bible all day and not doing anything else and be fearful of doing anything else because I felt like it would be disobedience) and it makes me want to resist Him.

Please pray that God will humble me and give me a repentant heart and understanding so I can know what's the truth and what's a lie and zeal and passion for Him to continue to press on because now I feel like giving up.

RE: Desperate for Prayer

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.... Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." John 3:3,5-7 Father Jesus, I lift your child in prayer my Lord and I pray that he/she understands that You are a Great God who is merciful, loving, forgiving and compassionate. I pray that You touch him/her with the Holy Spirit so that You may give him/her Your faith, trust, peace, love, joy, strength, knowledge, understanding and wisdom. I pray that Your child starts a fresh new start with You my Lord Jesus Christ and that he/she continues to serve Your kingdom. I pray that You touch him/her spiritually and that You let him/her know that he/she is not alone in this battle, in Jesus Christ name I pray, amen.

RE: Desperate for Prayer

Dear Jesus,

We thank you for this child, who willingly came here for prayer, for Lord, they are seeking to do your will Lord and we thank you Lord that they are asking for prayer and help Lord.

Lord, only you know truly the path they have walked with you and what has drawn them away from you Lord. Lord, as a christian myself, I can understand this childs confusion they have gone through and I know you were right there with them, and have never left them Lord, and are going to use everything they went through for their good and to draw them even closer to you Lord, for you do work ALL things out for good.

Lord, help them just come to you, trusting you as a child and as they are, without any questions Lord, with simplicity and sincerity , and just pouring out their heart to you , like the best friend you have always been to them. You already know their thoughts Lord, and understand them, more then anyone else can, so help them just open up and share their hurt, their anger, their confusion and pain and wash them Lord, with your love, comfort and healing touch , drawing them ever so close to you Lord.

Lord, guide them all the days of their life and by your spirit Lord, lead them . Bring in many sincere ministyring hands to uphold them in prayer and to encourage them to keep fighting the good fight of faith.

We thank you for be with this child of yours, for their willingness to come here for prayer and for what you are going to do in their life Lord, a mighty work.

Allow them to use their whole life, the trials, the mistakes, everything for your glory Lord.

Put angels all around them .

In your precious name, I pray, Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.
