I have made the decision not to apply for a job which I want but which I am unlikely to get, so I am shielding myself from disappointment. I ask Jesus to correct me if I am wrong and if I should apply. And I especially pray that Jesus would help me to make realistic plans and to stick to them.

Heavenly Father I ask that You would bring wisdom and insight regarding this job decision that this dear one needs Your guidance on. Show them the path that You would have them to make.

I pray this in Jesus precious name
