The last seven months have been among the most difficult I have endured, as I am unemployed and going through a divorce in which my daughter’s mother refuses to be an adult and put our daughter first. It breaks my heart every day to have such limited custody of my daughter. I have been the primary caretaker since she was born-both while employed and that much more after I was laid off. I have prayed much and shed many tears in the last seven months and have seen little progress in my situation. I want to be the man God made me to be, be the God fearing father my daughter needs me to be and be in her life as much as I’ve always been, and have the means with which to provide for my daughter and I, as well as diminish the mountain of debt which has grown during the ill-fated marriage. I need God to move powerfully in my life that I may find myself fulfilling my purpose, with at least a 50/50 custody agreement that I may continue to be the active force I have always been in my daughter’s life, and that we may live lives filled with the spirit which change the world.
I want custody of my daughter, a lucrative job I love, and God to drown me in the Spirit that I may be transformed as I need to be.

Father God,

I pray for this man and the situation he is going through. I pray you provide him with a good lawyer, favor in the eyes of the judge / courts, the ability and opportunity to maintain a good strong and nurturing relationship with his daughter, and a lucrative job that will be able to pay for his daughter's upbringing, his own living expenses and court costs. I pray also that he be washed in the Holy Spirit and transformed to the likeness of Jesus Christ. For your glory, I pray this in Jesus name. Amen.
