I am requesting prayer on behalf of Karissa, 10 yrs old. She was abandoned in Missouri by her drug addicted parents. We, her grandmother and I (great aunt), are going to court on May 21st to find out if the judge is going to let her come to live with us or be adopted by people that aren't her family. A social worker in the case is pushing the non family adoption because he will earn a bonus for placing a child with non family. We've been at this for 2 yrs with him blocking every effort we make to get her out of Missouri state custody. Now he is even calling my sister and bragging that she's not going to get her.

We need a miracle! My sister and I have all but raised this child during her life. I've personally fasted and prayed until I'm about sick. Please help me pray that Karissa gets to come home to her real family who love her and can teach her about her heritage.

Father my heart is crying out to you now, I lift up Karissa and her grandmother and great aunt to you. I lift up this whole case to you. Lord, we plead with you, do not let this snide, arrogant social worker get his way. Thwart his every effort to get extra money out of this by virtually auctioning off a young child. Convict him of his actions and mindset. Show him that it isn't about money, but this girl's life. Please bless this situation, let your will be done. Surround Wanda and Karissa and Karissa's grandmother with your peace and patience as they wade through this ordeal. Bless them, I pray in your name, Amen.

be & help them all to seek you, to find you & to know

Lord I know what this person is going through as I am going through the same thing. I am praying for her to get this child back home where she belongs, as well as praying for my twins who are not with me. pray that i can get my kids back rachel and richard home with me again and pray that rachel wants to return home to me. i miss her so much and pray for everyone on this site that needs reunification of their family. in jesus precious name i pray amen
