Caring for mother

I am caring for my mother. My mother though at times vibrant and full of personality, can have a depressive nature. She can be passive and won't really cooperate. I do not want her to go to a nursing home. So there are certain things she has to cooperate with. Yet she refuses and is stubborn which makes it extra hard for me.
I can be patient all day with her but if she won't listen and I raise my voice she is quick to point it out, though she is less inclined to speak like that to my brother.
I feel she can be dismissive of me and take little notice of what I say, when I try to help her, which is really frustrating. I do love my mother and I know she loves me and we can have a lovely bond. But if she could respect me as I try to help her, as she would an outsider, it would make a big difference. It upsets me when she tells me off in front of my brother too, because he doesn't always address what needs to be addressed and I feel I bear the brunt of it from every end. It feels like at times I am taking for granted.
I want to be loyal to the Lord and not sin even in these difficult circumstances. I think most of my sin is reactive, when my buttons are pushed and I get reactive. I can raise my voice if I feel I am not being listened to and I want to stop that, just deal humbly with what I am given, instead of trying to change her nature. I pray she will help me to help her. Pray for healing please and that salvation will come to the family home. May she find deeper joy in the Lord Jesus, at this difficult time of aging and decline. Grace, humility and love, ..Unity. May we all feel revived.
Thank you so much for reading this and for prayer and help.

RE: Caring for mother

Lord bring peace and harmony into this family and may the daughter and mother relationship be healed in Jesus name. May the daughter remember her mother must had been very frustrated too when the daughter did listened to her as she was growing up. Give this daughter the calm she needs to help her mother now in her time of need, just like the mother did raising her. Bless this family Lord I pray in Jesus name, amen.
