Affirmations in Prayer

More than a prayer request, this is a question about prayer. I usually claim promises in my prayers, I do not include affirmations in them. Some do, and I would like to know, from someone who has done it and has received amazing answers, what difference does it make not only to claim but to affirm the Word of God back to Him in prayer, or is it the same thing. (I want my prayers to be stronger and stronger.)
Thank you so much!

Bless

RE: Affirmations in Prayer

First, without faith it is impossible to please God. You must believe deep in your spirit what you are speaking and know the heart of God. You must seek His kingdom first. Repent of all your sins and truly follow Jesus. You must live holy and only then you will receive God's promises in the Bible. You can quote/speak/affirm etc. bible verses a million times but if it's not from your heart and without faith, it is useless.

Also, satan answers some affirmations that is not of God and he also answers some of prayer requests especially if it is not deep rooted from the Holy Spirit.

Lord give this person the wisdom and will to know you and put all their faith on you. May they stand on your promises to us who love you without any doubt that you are a true living God who hears our prayers and answers them, but it's on your timing and not ours. May they wait on you without giving up until they learn whatever it is you want them to learn first before they prayers are answered. Give them your peace and strength, also guide their steps to where you want them to be on their walk with you. I pray this in Jesus precious name, amen.

RE: Affirmations in Prayer

Thank you for your kind replies. I am a believer with a strong walk with the Lord, I just wondered about affirmations in prayer, since I have never done it and so many Christians around me are doing them and insist that they bring you answers to prayer. I get answers to prayer without using them so I was just wondering...

RE: Affirmations in Prayer

We are all individual not clones, for God didn't made us clones of one another. Therefore, what is good for one, may be different for another. As long as you love and have faith in the only true God, and wait on Him knowing He will answer you, that is all you need for your prayers to be answer. For it's what's in our heart that God looks at, not the pattern in which you pray. There is no mystery in praying, or when we crying out to our Lord, only to believe with all our might is all that is needed. For our God is a personal God, not a mold in a box. Hope this is of help to you.
