a relationship needing help
I am a mid 20's female and have been in a complicated relationship with a man for the last 2.5 years. I've always had a lot of faith and hope amiss any circumstance God placed me in (my father passed away young, my mom re-married a "not so kind" guy, i raised 4 of my siblings and still somehow finished school early and earned a job within the DOJ). I never cared much about dating until after college and i always felt i'd know when the right man would come along. Well this man did (I'll call him Yanni) and i just knew I was supposed to marry this man. The reason its complicated is b/c he is very indecisive and goes back and forth with me, one day saying he thinks we should get married and then the following week saying he needs someone else. He told me he's scared to be happy with me b/c im not the woman he pictured himself with (he's of arabic decent but is fully American) and everytime he says he will try he ends up backing away and trying to find a dif. woman. During this time period I have been there for Yanni through thick and thin and don't know what else to do now but pray.
I never knew I could request help through prayers before and just feel i need more prayers then just my own and that this relationship in fact needs a miracle. My request is that Jesus open's Yanni's heart to me, to appreciate me, our situation and accepts who I am without jumping off the boat before he gets on. I ask that Yanni stops questioning me, no longer doubts what he feels towards me and that he is more then willing to treat me the right way. I ask that he comes to a realization about us and that God provide him with a sense of calmness about us and love when he sees me. I ask that he realizes this during this week/month and that God places me as a constant thought in his mind. I ask for God's strength and courage for myself, and that he relieves my stress with this. -Thank you all so much for your prayers, i hope you know how much i truly appreciate it.
