Dear brothers and sisters in Christ I feel strongly that we as a part of the body of Christ we should be vigilant of the time we live in. May our hearts and minds be prepared and attuned to the day and hour that we live in.

Heavenly Father I come to You in prayer for myself and all the other brothers and sister both here and all over the world. Help us to be always aware to the nearness of Your blessed coming Lord. Help us be watchful and faithful to discern the days and times that we live in. Let us take pleasure in life but not so much so that we love the things of the world more that we love You dear Father. Help us to be true to Your calling on our lives Lord Jesus. May the Hold Spirit always be heard and heeded in our lives Lord. Help us to be quick to do good and bear much fruit of the Spirit. Let us be slow to take offense with our fellow man. Let if be said of us that we show the love of God in all our deeds and actions to each other. Help us to be seekers of the eternal treasures of God's great riches in glory. Let us have little regard for the treasures of this world, and all the more as we see the day of the Lord's return come near. Help blessings and praise to be ever on our lips and let curses and mischief and gossip be far from our lips. In all these things I ask and pray Lord that You would prepare Your people for Your return so that we might be found pleasing in your eyes.
