Lord, you know as a mom I am always protective of my baby, but my son is not a baby anymore and is quickly turning into a young man. He is the ripe age of 13 and has discovered girls. Father, with this comes all the challenges of teenage angst and temptation. Help me and his father work together (since we are now divorced) to make wise decisions and give godly counsel. His father has made and lived some horrible choices and has compromised everything he taught our son to be right, leaving me for another woman. Now, our son is faced with having a girlfriend and wanting to take her to the movies with other friends. His father and I are in agreement at the moment, but Lord you know the statistics of children of divorce. Please let my son cling to truth and the upbringing he has had. Give him wisdom and people in his path that will keep him pure. Lord, I trust and give all of these concerns to you, my savior.

Lord keep this young man away from all temptations and bad habits as you send your guardian angels to protect him at all times. Give his parents the wisdom to talk to him and guide him on the right track in life. Give his mother the peace of mind she needs for we know these are hard years to raise a child specially if the father had been a bad example. Have your perfect will be done in this situation, in Jesus name I pray, amen.
