Please pray for me. I am a 47 yr old guy who has been divorced for more the 8 years. I live in an are where there is little oppurtunity to meet some one. right now the loneliness i feel is so over powering that i cant hardly live my life anymore. I know that prayer is powerfull and that the Lord hears all prayers. And that He could bring someone new in my life.

I was where you are at one point and I know it feels hopeless. But, God can send you someone at any time. I waited about nine years for mine and have been married 29 after that. Good luck and God bless.

Lord, it is not Your will for man to live alone, thats why You made a right help mate. Lord forgive this brother/ help him to forgive the other person of all past mistakes knowingly or unknowingly which had ended in divorce. Lord, You are the God who is compassionate on everyone who calls on Your name. Your are his heavenly Father and You take this brother's life and beautify it Lord. Prov18:22 says He who finds a wife, finds a good thing. Show him the right partner and let him rejoice in You. In Jesus name. Amen.

Loving Father, please end this person's loneliness. Lead him to Christian companions and guide him to the right mate.

I am the same. 47 and so lonely. waiting for someone who might not love me and waiting for the Lord to act. i posted just this afternoon, under heart broken. so let us pray together that the Lord will bring in the right person into our lives. That you will meet a woman chosen for you by the Lord that you will love and cherish, like Christ loved the church, and that I will meet a man who will love me the same. Loneliness hurts. I cry myself to sleep and wake up crying, so I know. Pray pray pray. that is all i can say. God does not want us to be alone. So I am trying to hand on as well. I feel your pain, so God Bless and pray and surround yourself with love and family and friends.
