My mother suffers from depression and can say very negative things at times. It can bring me down. Tonight I was trying to remind her how we all have a purpose and she put me down saying what purpose do I have..
This is probably because I struggle with jobs etc and getting my act together but in Jesus I know I have a purpose and He has given me victories in doing the things I love though it can be a battle to find my balance and feet on the world. It hurts when my mother puts me down. She can be great sometimes but she sees the glass half empty and I don't want to be taking on her stuff. Pray please for me. For protection of my mind, heart and soul against these forces. Thank you

Lord I pray to help us to trust and believe with all heart Ephesians 6:12. Man of God Joseph did the right thing and still he had to be in Lord's School and when the right time came The Lord gave him great authority. But first he spent time for training because he needed to be ready for such great responsability to be second in command over Egypt.
Lord I pray to help us to have faith and to trust with all our hearts in God's love for us.

Heavenly Father show this dear one that their value is in You and no person can diminish that. Lord console and lift up their spirit and bind up the emotional hurt that was inflicted on them. Lord Jesus give them an overwhelming sense of Your abiding presence in their life and deepen their walk of faith with You. Help them to rise above the hurts and forgive those who have spoken unkindly things and by doing so show forth the love of Christ in their life.
