Father in heaven you know how lonely my husband and I are in our old age. I can't
leave the house on my own anymore because of my physical condition. My husband still has to work to help us here even though he is in his mid seventies, plus we are down to one car because the old one has broken down on us.
My younger daughter had forgotten us and moved very far from us. She taught my grandchildren that her grandmother is my x's wife, even though we have done so much for them and her. While her father was always too busy making more children when he couldn't even afford the ones he had with me. We were the ones who were always there for them when they were in need. Bring them all to your knowledge Lord, and soften their heart.
My present husband helped me to raise them and has always been there for them. I raised her first son, he is already going on forty years old. Been like a son toward us, but now he got himself entangle with a girl that's a not believer and he hardly sees us. Has had a baby with her and she don't like us because of our believe in You Lord. She told me not to talk to her about God because she is an atheist. She is nothing like any of the young women my grandson ever dated.
He has lost his job now and is having a hard time finding another job, plus lost his car because he can't afford the payments anymore. Oh Lord, he needs you in his life again, and to come back to his senses. He allows his girlfriend to use the baby to control him. We love the baby as much as we love him, but now we can't even see her much. We wanted to teach her about you and to know your love for her, but the mother won't let her father bring her to us unless she is present to make sure we don't talk to her about you, and talk to our grandson freely.
My oldest daughter went to be with you Lord, you know she never married nor had any children. You know she loved us and was very closed to us. She suffered so much at her end with so much pain from that terrible cancer. We miss her so much Father, but we know she is out of pain now resting in your loving arms.
We are so lonely now in our old age Father, all of our relatives and friends have passed away, a few moved to other states so far away from us. The people in the churches we visit don't even acknowledge us, is like if we are invisible and they can't see us at all.
Send us some real good caring friends Lord, not gossipers, nor envious people to befriend us mostly of our age group. Lord you know we love you very much and put our trust in you, but we still need human to care for us too while in this life.
