Great are You, Eternal One, and most worthy of praise in Your city, O Elohim, Your Holy Mountain. As is Your Name, O Elohim, so is Your praise to the ends of the earth. Your right hand is filled with righteousness. We will praise You, O Eternal One, with all our heart. We will tell of Your wonders. We will be glad and rejoice in You. We will sing praise to Your Name, O Most High. The righteous will rejoice in You, O Eternal One, for praise is becoming to the upright.
Loving and Merciful Father, You've asked us to race away from some things, flee the love of money, false beliefs, and malicious talk, for example. And You've asked us to race toward others, and to pursue rigtheousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. Help us run fast today. By Your grace and power, and our commitment, we want to compete in the race of faith and take hold of eternal life You willl give the overcomer at Yeshua return.
Elohim of Redemption and Restoration, please help us to throw off everything that holds us back or diverts our energies, bad habits, temptations, laziness, wrong priorities. Deliver us, Eternal One, from the sin that so easily entangles our mind, our hands, and our
feet. Help us to run strong and true down the track You've marked out as ours. But effort isn't enough. Even good intentions. Only the blue ribbon will do, Eternal One, Help us to run so as to win. Your approval and at the first resurrection to be born again in Your Kingdom, to receive eternal life and to rule with Yeshua in Your Kingdom are the only prize that matter. Any other wins are only losses.
Abba Father, please help us today to keep our back turned toward every past failure and to press on toward the finish line to win. Empower us to run in such a way as to get the prize. We pray through the love and work of Your Son Yeshua, the Messiah, the Ressurection and the Life, the eternal life that He experiences now and will provide to us. Amen, halleluyah.
