I have been born again for 2 1/2 years. FELT CALLING TO INTERCESSION. In November began to feel depressed. Things got crushingly worse until I had to have spell in hospital. Now on medication called Trazodone-feel very frightened and confused. Though also feel God is with me! Had terribly difficult childhood as my mother had personality disorder (diagnosed - but I now think she was demon possesed---don't think everyone with this condition is in that state at all! But mum was particularly evil+destructive of others). Can you pray for healing for myself and also guidance, wisdom&strengthening of faith. Could you also pray for a pastor I know - Steve? He is American in England and he too Is in severe depression-he has v.supportive wife but they come from different culture and I feel bear guilt about this condition. Thank you for prayer as I feel totally lost Debbie

I am currently in school studying psycology. I do not think your mother was demon possed. She could have had one or several underlying mental or mood disorders steming from psychosis to schizophrinia. Mental illness does run in families and can be EXTREMELY difficult. Im so sorry you have to deal with this burden. The most important thing is to find the right medication. If the medication you are on is not working for you, you must let your physician in care know! Medications are all about trial and error. People that suffer from mental illness need a proper meds just as much as a diabetic needs insulin. I will pray and you should pray for God to lead you to a good physician that will give you the right treatment. Also try to forgive your mother, she was ill and im sure she could not help the way she acted. Prayers for you and try to do something each day that makes you smile!
