Marriage ready to fold

Please pray for my husband and I (Stanford and Joy). We are going through major issues in our marriage and the word divorce has come up a few times. I truly believe God can restore our marriage and build it up to be what HE intended for a marriage to be.

My husband is going through a drug treatment program, working full-time and attending meetings 3x a week. He has so many stresses in his life and has added more to our stress by confiding in another girl (who is also a user). He claims that nothing is going on, but the interaction between the two over the phone is constant. He needs to remove himself from this distraction and anything that is volatile to His relationship with God, our marriage, and his recovery.

We have a 3-year old daughter. I don't want to see him throw this all away and regret the beautiful life we once shared. I know God can restore all of this for us.

Lord, we ask Your Healing in this marriage, in these lives. Protect kjepa & her daughter from harm.

RE: Marriage ready to fold

The hardest thing is to pray for his will, not how we think he should answer. I know this because I am going through a tough time right now myself. I have to accept his will if it means losing everything. I don't want to but what will I be stuck with if I don't listen to him. I just read Psalm 68:6. Wow. Am I being rebellious? Tough on to swallow. I will say a prayer for you. Sometimes praying for someone else helps put things into perspective.
