I have had a hard time meeting a good girl for me to date. I've gone through many obstacles along the way. So many act like their christian, but they don't live it. It's brought me down, but I know that God's going to help me and make it happen. I've been waiting patiently for some years. Please pray that Jesus would send me a girl that is like me and someone who I would like. She would be beautiful on the inside with good christian values. She would also be beautiful to me on the outside, someone who wants to dress nice and who has long hair. I want a girl who is like this and who wants to stay like this for herself and me. Being single is a time to work on self, inner beauty & outter health.
As to appearance, yes it's a matter of personal opinion, beauty & taking care of self (health) is important & in a marriage (someone that takes responsibility this way).

Dear Lord,

I pray that You would lead this man to whom You have chosen for him. Only You know when the time is right and I understand what this young man is going through. In these last times it is difficult to find young people who have good christian values and even good, christian young people have lost many of the values You have and have sought after the world. I pray that You would help this young man to continue to follow after you and who will continue to seek You in this matter. I pray that whomever You send Lord that he would accept, regardless of what she looks like. As he has voiced, he wants someone who is beautiful on the inside and we know that inner beauty shines more brightly than outward appearences and I ask that her beauty, which of You, would shine through her so that this man would see that she's who You have for him.

I understand completely how difficult it is to find someone in this lost and dying world, especially since I am fundamental christian. Many people I know have good hearts, but disagree with me on certain values and I wonder if there is someone out there for me. However, a wise person once told me that they could not believe that if God made me the way I am that there wouldn't be someone out there that He has for me, who would complement me. From what you've written, it sounds like you're going through the same thing. But remember, God said it is not good for man to be alone and although the wait seems long, just continue to seek His guidence. I know that in my waiting period I have seen what qualities I do not want in my future spouse as well as what I do want. Wait on the Lord and He will renew your strength...and I know how hard that is to hear over and over again, but the Lord will come through.
