Dear Bros and Sisters in Christ,
My husband's ex-wife took legal action to demand for increased and unreasonable access to her daughter and for us to pay for her lawyer fees. We are unable to communicate with her as she is very insistent on her ways.
We have tolerated her years of abandonment to the child, asking for access only at her convenience and refusal to pay for her maintenance. She harrassed our family with midnight calls, vandalising our car and puncturing our tyres. All these we have commited to the Lord in prayer and tolerated. She sends her curses in sms and spread rumors of us (her active and only caregivers) in the child's school.
She was divorced twice before and denied access to her other children because of her violent streaks. But this time she was smart enough to hold her anger back in front of the child and used treats to lure her child into agreeing with whatever she say. She even managed to teach the child to lie to us for her own interest.
The child has a difficult temperament and it took us years to train her to to where she is now, including bringing her to church. Her 'plan' serves only her interest and is at the expense of the child's development. We never intended her to lose touch with her biological mom, but train her to forgive and to maintain a good relationship. However, she abuses her position and threatens us in many ways, so much so the child can also feel fear and uncertainty. It has manifested in her life as 'nightmares' and spiritual attacks.
We only have 3 days to respond to her legally. Please pray for:
1. God's protection and wisdom to tackle this problem
2. A good lawyer and a court order that is in favor to us, so that she cannot threaten us or the kid anymore
