Please Pray for Me

I'm a strong believer, but lately I've been struggling with worries about death. I'm not old but I find myself fearing death and what's waiting for me. I serve God, love God, and I know he's real, but I still worry. It's like a voice wondering if I have it wrong. Worrying that there is no life beyond death. It keeps me up at night and I don't feel like I can talk to anyone I know without them questioning my faith. Please pray for God to speak to me about it and give me peace.

RE: Please Pray for Me

Precious Jesus, please guide this guest. Lord, give them understanding. I pray that they will always be found serving You. In this I ask in Your name,Jesus.Amen.
John 14: 1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you,I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (King James Version Holy Bible)

RE: Please Pray for Me

Amen to this prayer!

Something I find quite interesting is history & science, along with being a CHRISTIAN.
Since the bible says,
"there is nothing new under the sun," & history tends to repeat itself, I find this an interesting subject.
Also, because of, "Heaven," & that there is a, "new heaven & near earth," that we look forward to, science is also fascinating.
Perhaps try to see life in more dimensions, science talks about dimensions. History can & often does repeat itself.
ALWAYS stay in THE WORD.
Perhaps expand your thinking, that you are able to see things more like GOD DOES. Can you imagine?
HIS LOVE For us, & when we think of what Heaven might be like...
So perhaps enlarge your focus, if you have been used to this strict thinking/mindset & perhaps feel a burnout with it all? I am not sure this helps, but try to see through HIS EYES, that there is so much to come, & thinking of what Heaven might be like, think dimensionally,
maybe picture bigger than 3D but with GOD Part of it all.
I pray that you will not be afraid, of God's Love, know that God Loves us all, all of us!!! Think of the, Rubix Cube, & how we are all one in CHRIST & how it's all about getting all the pieces aligned right, but only God Can Turn The Key, "My Kingdom Come, My Will Be Done,"
in Heaven it will be aligned right, that we, "feel no more pain, or sorrow." It is God's Alignment, "we are one in CHRIST,"
but that is a process, dimensional in nature.
When we have God Come Into all of the areas of our life,
& BELIEVE, we live, "by faith," not by sight.
BELIEVE!!! but allow yourself to enjoy life, living by HIS RULES, but maybe expand, learn more (history & science for instance are fascinating subjects) & know HE LOVES you!!!

God Bless you.

RE: Please Pray for Me

Father...remind this poster that in your word you teach...I believe...help my unbelief. The two on the surface can seem contradictory...but given that these words are thousands of years old...I think it makes the point that every Christian finds themselves struggling at times with their faith. The enemy since he has no real power over us, tries to use our own minds against us to distract us from the things of God. When you feel this way...go to the word...read what it says...for example...upon departing the earth Jesus told his followers (I paraphrase)...In my Father's house there are many mansions...and I go there now to make a place for you. If it were not so, I would tell you. Jesus is the walking truth...he, unlike the the enemy is not out to trick us but to teach us and share the truth of God. We can rely on his word. What is the balm for your disquieting thoughts? The word of God! When these thoughts enter your mind... finding a scripture and spending time memorizing it and meditating over it might be helpful. Father if it be in your will, please direct this guest to use this tactic against the thoughts that upset his spirit. And please let him know he is not alone...we all experience moments of doubt...but you and your word remain our comfort and our hope. In Jesus name...Amen!

RE: Please Pray for Me

Dear Lord, please have mercy on this guest.
In the Name of the Lord, right now I command to all the power of darkness and the curses to leave this guest! Now!
I pray that Your will to be done in their life.
You are the King of kings and Your Name is Wonderful.
Thank You my Lord

Warrior Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years.
