unemployed 6 months
My wife says she is tired of doing this and doing that, and that I lay around all day. I have been looking for a ministry job for the last 6 months. I am a youth minister and I know that God has called me to full time ministry. Right now I feel discouraged and am looking for secular work. I wonder if the Lord is done with me. Why can't my wife encourage me and believe in me? I am loosing my resolve and my faith that God will come through on this one. Not because of Him, but because of me.

RE: unemployed 6 months
Lord, please bring clarity upon this guest's life, Speak Clearly Lord Jesus & please show him exactly what to do, not just in the big picture Lord Jesus, but each minute, each hour, each day, be by his side & help him through this tunnel Lord. Jesus also WRAP YOUR ARMS around his wife so that she is patient, that she does not worry as women do, that they find goodness in each other through YOU LORD, for a healing of their marriage & life in YOU Jesus as they have each other & the greatest of these is LOVE Lord because God YOU ARE LOVE. We ask for a revival of their marriage, of their spirits, of their souls Jesus & for renewed hope in the job search, whatever YOUR WILL in this Jesus. That they find small ways Lord to see their fruits that are of YOU, for YOU. God, YOU HATE DIVORCE. Please open the doors Lord & to patience, understanding on both of their parts. Jesus we give YOU thanks & praise & always for the small things Lord, not just what we see, as we live by faith not by sight.
Healing Lord be upon them, protection, YOUR TRUTH, YOUR LIGHT, YOUR LOVE. Bless them Lord, please give them peace, joy & love, in YOU.

RE: unemployed 6 months
My Father had a full time ministry and a full time circular job for forty five years, God blessed him in both jobs. When you are married and have a family it is your job to provide for them too. God know if you are using the ministry as a copout from your responsibilities as a husband and father. Remember it does not pleases God to neglect your family for others. God is talking to you clearly enough through your wife, but you are not listening to him. Right now he wants you to do both jobs, it's up to you if you will be successful in one or both at the same time. With God's help you can do both as many other ministers have done and some are still doing. Remember if you neglect your family, what example are you to the world and what kind of witness are you for God? By your example you are teaching the youth to take the easy way out by neglecting their families when they themselves get married. A youth minister has a very big responsibility to the ones he is ministering, for he is opening tender minds and they are so aware of what you do and learn from it. So be careful how you present yourself to them. For if one of them gets hurt by your bad example, you will have to face your maker someday and explain why. I'm sure you know very well what the bible has to say to those who hurt children.
Lord open the this man's eye and ears so he can hear you clearly. Let him see that sometimes you use those closer to us to talk to us. That he will lose his wife if he continues to be stubborn and lazy. Does he expect you to have a whale swallow him and then vomit him up like you did with Jonah in order for him to hear you? Bless him and his wife as they continue to serve you. I pray in Jesus name

RE: unemployed 6 months
For Healing Lord first of this marriage, that this man find a job Lord, that there is no blame because Lord this is not of YOU.
That this husband lift his wife up & give praise that he has a family, love, & bless them Lord, let them not lose hope. There are many struggling with the economy, these are signs Lord, from YOU that we are truely depenedent upon YOU to provide. That this man see these struggles as a humbling that God is our Father, & that he is able to find some type of work & not worry about the ministry but that each step in his life is a ministry Lord, a testimoney of YOUR LOVE for us. Let this marriage Lord be on fire again, as God Hates Divorce. Joblessness is difficult moreso for a man, his need to provide, to work is great. Please Lord, let him see he is not alone in this struggling world, let him work on healing his marriage Lord Jesus, that he takes whatever job he can get for now, & then his ministry first & foremost be his love & understanding of his wife, his family, his walk with YOU LORD. Jesus YOU ARE our Spouse, YOU PROVIDE.
Healing Lord & Holy Warrior Angels upon this family. Jesus YOU SEE ALL & let YOUR TRUTH, LOVE & LIGHT PREVAIL.
We give YOU GLORY & PRAISE LORD JESUS. We thank YOU for all we have.

RE: unemployed 6 months
The holy word tells us that God told man, "by the sweat of your forehead you shall make your living." We know God helps us who help ourselves, that means to move your feet and start looking for a job. We can't expect the job to come knocking at our door if we don't go looking for it. You can always get a job that won't conflict with the schedule of your ministry. Organize in your life, for God likes organization, put your priorities in order so you can do both and make your wife happy at the same time.
Lord give this man the wisdom he needs to do his ministry, go to work for a living, and take care of his wife and family. We know that all things are possible through you, and works for your glory, so help him find a job soon. As he becomes obedient to you I'm sure you will bless him in all he does. Heal this marriage and bring love for each other into their heart. I pray in Jesus name.
