I'm sorry to request more prayer so soon. I've beenhaving a lot of trouble w/ my mentally ill mom, then today I received some bad news that will adversely affect a romantic relationship. It's making me very depressed b/c ever since I've been old enough to date & seriously consider marriage, this same thing happens. I will learn to love a man & will receive signs that it's God's will for me to marry a person, something always goes wrong. I will pray & pray about it. I'm now almost 39 & it gets more depressing every time it happens. I know it may seem silly to get so sad, but the same thing happens every time I meet someone & find some happiness. I have so many problems dealing w/ my mom & just wish God would allow me to keep a relatioship that makes me happy for a change. Then after the good relationship is over, I have to put up w/ having only men who are like my mom (emotionally unstable, etc) be interested in me. I really wanted this relationship w/ "J" to work out. I know to some this may seem like a silly problem, but it has happened at least 5 times in the past 18 yrs (not including this recent incident).
