RE: Please God, Melt my wifes hardened heart
I used part of your prayer for my similar situation as well... thank you!.. Richard
***
I pray for my you wife Issa, and I ask for God to soften your heart towards me.
I pray for your safety and your protection.
I pray the wedge driven into our marriage will not at diminish your love of Christ, your relationship with God and your quest to learn scripture.
I pray God moves you Issa to know I am taking responsibility for my sins and my lack of knowledge to guide you and my family in spiritual matters through Christ our Savior.
I pray the ones I love most, you Chynna and Hanna… to know always that I will love them no matter what.
I pray God moves you to forgive me for all of this which I have caused.
I pray my efforts for repentance are sincere to you, and will make a difference in your feelings of me, and will give you the hope needed to continue.
I pray you hear my proclaim that I do love you, I do admire you, I do desire you and I do cherish you. As I know this was caused because of my inabilities and insecurities… as you felt unloved, un-cherished, not cared for, despised, neglected, unimportant, and pushed aside for my, deeds, self-love and self-interest. I know I am responsible.
I pray I die to pride and self concerns.
I pray you know that I understand your hurt condition, my failures, and I empathize with you - I do not blame you.
I pray the Holy Spirit reminds us both of the priceless love and the wonderous events of our marriage and our family.
I pray for the Holy Spirit to empower us to forgive one another the way Christ has forgiven us.
I pray for expedience for these things as I know our marriage and our family is at stake.
I pray the 3rd Chord of our marriage to become stronger than ever before.
I pray your heart to melt for me… as mine does for you.
I pray all these things in the name of Christ Jesus, the name above all names.
