Noela, as a Birthing Instructor, what I am going to tell you to do is important. Very important. Each time you feel yourself getting anxious, I need you to lie down in a comfortable position or sit if you cannot, close your eyes and take a deep breath in, hold it a few seconds then let it out slowly. Do this several times, it will not only help you to relax but the muscles in your abdomin which can constict the baby and cause complications if these muscles remain tensed. Having tense abdominal muscles can keep the baby from turning properly, and cause all kinds of problems, even with the ambilical cord. While you do these breathing exercises, I want you to recite in your mind the promises of God, and the character of God. He is the Great and Mighty Physician, the God of all Flesh, and nothing is impossible for Him. Trust Him.
