My husband had been a good husband to me. But, there were times when he suddenly becomes very irritable and angry to me and to my son... shouting and cursing. I would try to understand him because he came from a broken family. He grew up neglected by his parents who were, as he told me, occupied by material things, friends and other lovers when he was still very young. I would try to understand him knowing he has a lot of hurts and pains in his hearrt. I give him the attention and love that he needs... Because I came from a loving and traditional family, I try to understand when he becomes very irritable or sometimes violent.

One day, he admitted that he was again doing an old bad habit. He was taking drugs, crystal meth. I caught him lying when i found out he pawned our camera. He admitted it to me and promised to never do it again.

This was the time when our budget is always short. Our bills our always high, and we are always in debt. We always worry each day when we dont have money to pay the bus in going to work... I think that he slipped to his old habit when pressure of responsibilities becomes extremly high. He cannot cope.

I have forgiven him and prayed with him. But, when i look in his eyes I see weakness. He is not a man, but a child inside although he tries to appear to be a strong man. I can't be strong for long. I need somebody to lean on. God seems so far away.

I ask for your prayers to give us both strength to fight in our daily struggles. To not give up... to trust the Lord. To find the Lord...
