Father, help this guest to find the path you have for them. Draw them close that you might whisper the plans you have for them and that they might feel your presence and be reassured of your love. Show them the wonder and healing power of serving others...even in simple things such as prayer. Father open their eyes to how precious life is...if they doubt, let them speak to a mother or child that has lost a mother, or lost a child and grieves that loss greatly. Father, show them that while we cannot always control circumstances that effect us, we can control how we go through them. Deciding to be joyful about the blessings we have draws to us others who are filled with joy which makes life more bearable. Let them see that every person no matter the circumstance has some blessings...a roof over their heads, food on the table, health and strength are some examples...many have not one of these things but still find a way to go on. Father bring change to this person's life but let it begin within them...that they might have an attitude of gratitude for all that you have already provided as well as those good things to come. Bless this guest richly and help them to find their joy. In Jesus name...Amen!
