My sister, faith is not something that we ourselves create in our hearts, but is a gift from God. He gives each one of us the amount of faith necessary to live our lives accomplish our aims and to fight our battles. Faith comes from the word of God...and growing it requires that we study his word earnestly. Our part is very simple...but not always easy, and that is to believe what is said in the word. In truth, when the Holy Spirit dwells within us, we are immune from the spell castings of witchcraft. We can however be oppressed by demonic influence. But knowing the word says that we can cast out devils in the authority of the Father and the Son has always been helpful to me. I pray that it will also be for you.

Father, give Twyla a hunger for your word. Let her study it daily that her faith may grow. Let her BELIEVE it that she may have power to do what it says we can do. Let her know that your love for her and your concern, as taught in your word, are more than equal to the limited power of the dark arts. Let this woman walk in confidence that you are her God and you are her shield that she might be totally secure in that knowledge that your power, given through the Son is hers to use against sin! Thank you Father for all that you have done and will do in Twyla's life. In Jesus name...Amen!
