Please pray for L and J. J, who is quite young, has been recently removed -against their will- from the custody of her mom (L). J is in a home where there are cats to which she is allergic. During the most recent visit (around noontime), she was dirty...said she hadn't eaten...and claimed to have been kicked by another child.

Mom reports domestic violence against herself and abuse/suspected sexual abuse against her daughter by her husband (the child's father). The social workers handling the case were aware of these facts when they removed J. Until now, the husband/father has shown little concern for J's welfare. Now, he husband/father is requesting custody of J.

We know and trust that God is working for His purpose(s) in this situation. Please pray: for peace, comfort, and well-being for L and J; for the social workers and other type of aid workers to work under God's will; for those who are concerned for L & J's situation (incl family and friends), may they help with what they can and receive positive affirmation for their deeds; and even for those who are against L & J...may God show His Presence in their lives that He may bring about permanent, positive changes from these bad circumstances. We praise you, Lord, for being our protector and our strength in times of trouble. But most of all, we thank You for Your LOVE.
