Pray to Overcome Dire Financial Situation and Depression

Please God help me overcome the dire financial situation since I lost my job due to the economy. Please help me find employment and overcome the depression and absolute hopelessness I feel. Please help me believe that people do, and can, care about each other instead of exploiting one another. I pray for your assistance and compassion and the prayers of my brothers and sisters.
