Father, I pray for the families of those who lost loved ones in 9-11. Father, please comfort them as they remember this fateful day. Let them remember the sacrifices made with pride as well as sorrow. The bravery of the police, firefighters and ordinary citizens as they gave their lives trying to save others. Remember the families Father of those who lost loved ones that were simply sitting at desks at their jobs. Heal the wounds that remain Father and let these families know that they are not forgotten. Father heal the nations of the world and bring the principles of God into our interactions with each other...that you might lead and guide our leaders in their decision making. In Jesus name...Amen!
