God I know that you bless unity, and in order for this couple to be united, they will need to be close to the same level with you. I pray that you are working in this man to come closer to you. Abuse, violence, and disrespect is not what you have ordained for this daughter of yours. Please provide her with direction so she knows what is in your will to do. Please provide her with protection to never be abused by another person. Lift her up and help her to draw closer to you in this time while she is away from her husband. Help him to seek you and get help if appropriate to overcome his abuse. Help him to keep his temper in check and to not let his emotions to rule his life, but to let you rule his life.
