Father...thank you for this beautiful spirit that resides in Ashley. She is using wisdom and listening for your voice with prayer...to allow her to plan her direction. When one is single they are not bound to the same spiritual laws as exist in marriage...and either partner is free to walk away at any time. HOWEVER, when one is praying to restore a relationship that is outside of marriage God communicates exactly as you have written here. You are seeing progress in the communication between this man and yourself. The lightness of spirit in the way you have communicated your prayer request also says there is little resistance occurring also to the things that are being discussed. This is a sign of both growth and progression...you can see God's hand in the process. I agree with you that because there is progression you should not date others...unless this relationship is only a friendship at this stage and he is doing the same. The enemy will present many suitors to distract you...it is one of his most common tricks for both the single and the married. If going out with other people is not something you would be open to sharing with the one you are wanting to have a relationship with...I would recommend that you not do so. However if he is dating others...and you go out with others ONLY as friends...and are HONEST with this man that you care for about, as he should be with you...because there is no marriage...you are free to do so in the eyes of God...but understand until there is an agreement for exclusivity...he is as well. The choice however should be something that you are both comfortable with. While the outcome is still unknown...and free will must reign in both of your actions according to Spiritual Law...you are approaching this with the right attitude and with sound Godly wisdom. Keep your eyes on the Lord!

Father...draw this man that Ashley cares for closer to your son. Let him come to regard him as his friend, brother and savior... as a true person in his life that he should commune with daily. Draw Ashley to you also Father...for you to do the same in her life. I pray a hedge of protection around them both that they may stand against the wiles of the enemy. I pray that they are led to discuss things of Spirit together and to pray for one another and WITH one another...that your plan for their lives and this relationship may become clear to them. Father...let them use wisdom in their decisions about interacting with others Father...and let no interloper influenced by the enemy enter into their presence.
