Lord, Be With adoring1 & her all of her family today & throughout this horrific time of loss, Lord. We are thankful that Rodney knew YOU JESUS. This is a time of grief now, for his daughters, for his siblings, all of this family Lord. Help us remember to always be grateful & remind those we care about how much we appreciate them in our lives. We realize that this life is temporal Jesus. We thank YOU For Rodney, & that he be safe in YOUR ARMS.

Today is a day filled with sadness. I had just returned from signing all of the necessary documents to move my mother into hospice care, when I received a phone call from my daughter to say that my Step brother had been killed in a car accident yesterday. He was standing out side of his business where the city was repaving the driveways of all of the businesses in the Area. The lane was closed to traffic and a woman who was under the influence drove into the closed lane and ran over him. The car could not be lifted off of him by those around and a crane had to be brought in to get his body out from under the car. My brother knew the Lord...and loved him. He has two daughters 18 and 15 who are devastated by this. He was divorced and so his eldest daughter as the next of kin has to officially identify the body today. I will be going to support her at the funeral...please pray for them to be strengthened and for the comfort of the Lord. Let them be thankful that Rodney knew God and loved him...and let them know the peace of the promise that they will see him again...as they are both believers. In Jesus name...Amen!
