Lord sometimes we have to get to the very bottom before we can look up or we need someone to hold on for us when we cannot hold on for ourself. You are the only hope Lord, you are the only way. Renew this persons strength day by day until they are completly restored to fellowship with you. One can never get over the loss of a spouse, but knowing that they will see one another again and having the promise that, that place will be in heaven can give some comfort. Give the comfort of the Holy Spirit and hold this person in your arms Lord. Give them one of your special hugs and gently whisper in their ears how much you love them and will always be near.
