They say money can't buy happiness, but in this case, it can. I am a 35-year-old woman who was in a loveless and lonely marriage for 12 years. I fought for my marriage, but it just wasn't meant to be. After years of praying, God sent me a wonderful man who has brought me such joy, happiness, and laughter...all the things I have longed for for so long.

I just found out a couple of weeks ago that I am pregnant. This is the first time I have ever been pregnant. I wasn't even sure if it was a possibility! However, this was unplanned at this time. We are struggling with the bills and have missed two mortgage payments already. How can we have this baby, this tiny little blessing, when we are struggling to keep the roof over our heads?

I have rescued many animals over the years using a God-given gift of understanding animals. It has been an honor and a pleasure to help these furry and feathered angels here on earth. Because of my extended "family," I cannot simply move to another home or into an apartment. This would mean abandoning the very animals that I rescued from abandonment in the first place. These little angels have been my reason for living the past 12 years. I cannot give them up. I refuse to do so. I hold them dear to my heart.

I currently cannot find employment, and my mortgage company has been of NO assistance. I am lost and in a constant state of panic. :cry

Please pray for me (Patrice), Carl, our unborn child, and my many pets that we will find a way to afford my small home. It will save us all and allow us to start a brand new life together in 2010. Thank you all so much.
