Melia suffers from advanced osteoporosis. In addition she has rheumatoid arthritis for 11 years that have affected her entire joints. She's now on crutched and a lot of painkillers. She had a total left knee operation in 2004 and now the doctor said the prosthesis has to be replaced because of 'malfunction'.

It appears, both her left and right hips, right knee and left ankle may have to be operated too.

If that is not band, both her elbows, wrists, fingers and shoulders are as severe!
