Lord, I ask that You would take all thoughts of divorce out of my husband's mind and heart. Please open his eyes to see how far away that is from Your best for his life and our lives together. For times we have discussed divorce or when he has used the word divorce as a way out of our problems, I come before you on his behalf and ask for Your forgiveness. Where the spirit of divorce has found a home in his heart, please break that stronghold by the power of Your Spirit. Destroy that lie of the enemy so that it can never rise up again. Show him a better way, which is Your way for our lives. Let there be no divorce in our future. Please show him to use our current separation to self-examine & work to restore our marriage.
