Remember God needs no defending for He is God almighty, we can lead others to know of his love for them by our example in which we live our life. Read:

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
Lord have Mario study your word very good so he be able to explain it without fear and with confidence in what he is telling others. This way they may not be any arguments. Most people come to you by our example of how we live our life and by praying for them, not by pushing them to you. Teach him how to be a good witness for you, and give him a thick skin to not allow himself to be hurt anymore, for greater is him that is in us than he who is of this world.
