Losing my Daughter

My daughter has decided to marry her fiance' without me (her mother) being there. Not even for the civil ceremony. I am so heartbroken and crushed, that I have been crying for three days. It's a given that our kids must go on with their lives, as adults, but this is selfish and the one thing in life I wanted was to see her get married. Since this is her choice, I am getting to the point where I don't even want to meet this man. He hasn't made the effort to make sure I could, which doesn't make him seem like a very good man. (I'm in Michigan, they are in Ohio.) They have a car and I don't. Prayers are needed for me just to get through this, since it's such a painful time. I'll always love my daughter, but I feel as if she's just forgetting I am her mother at this point. (I already have my only son that is an alcoholic and not reasonable, so we don't talk.) After three days of crying, I'm about ready to just live my life alone and without contact with my kids. It may seem harsh, but there isn't much choice in this matter.......thank you for the prayers.
