God take this hate and anger from my heart

I got into an ugly encounter with a person of another race yesterday. I lost my temper and used profanity and acted like absolute trash. Today the anger and hate still festers in me. Please Lord take it away and replace it with the peace that was there before. I haven't felt feelings like this toward others in a long time and I don't like it. It is not who I want to be.
