It has been awhile since I have been to this site to send in a prayer request. Its funny that what brings me back to this site is what was going on the last time I was here.
God placed on my heart to start a therapeutic after school program. The program was free to parents that had Medicaid. Things were a constant struggle but God always provided. I am a single mother and I felt deeply that it was unhealthy for me to be that stressed. I gave everything. I had a lot of anxiety surrounding keeping the doors open. But I was constantly losing due to Medicaid cuts. Long story short I rode things out until I was forced to close my doors. I will not be surprised if I find myself doing this again without depending on the money to fund my entire household. I will have enough help to be able to work and have the program on the side.
Well, I owe a lot of people money I had to walk away from leases and my home. I was accused of awful things. I feared for my safety. I prayed about it and I felt God lead me to Houston Texas. I have a friend here that is allowing me to stay with her for free. I have been looking for a job for about a month and a half and I have not gotten much feedback. I have a lot of education and experience. I am believing God for a good position with security and benefits. But this is the longest I have been unemployed and it is a challenge for me. Please pray God opens a window of blessings that I don’t have room enough to receive. Please pray that I find a new church that feeds my soul. Please pray that that move has not been too traumatic on my two year old. Please pray that I learn the lessons that I was surpassed to learn from this.
