My husband is Nigerian and I am American. We met and have lived in the US. He left to visit Nigeria on December 10th 2013 and was supposed to return on December 26th; however, he called me on Christmas Eve to tell me that he is staying in Nigeria and that he wants to move back in a year or two. Before we got married we discussed whether he wanted to ever move back to his country and he told me as well as others that he never wanted to move back, only visit.

I am 3 months pregnant and really upset that he decided to stay without considering me, his child or his responsibilities at home and even more upset because he wants to move back to Nigeria knowing that we discussed this before getting married. All of our family and church family are in the US.

Please pray for my spirit to be calmed so that I am not as angry with him as I have been. Please pray that he returns home next week on the Wednesday flight instead of the Friday flight. Please also pray that he finds a good job in America so that he no longer desires to live in Nigeria and that whatever efforts he is making to live there fall through and lastly, please pray that my husband is a good, present father putting our child's needs before his own.
