I am going through this too...my husband is a functioning alcoholism. He's not even a mean one to me and our girls but it hurts when he relapses. He has agreed to go back to church as a family praise God, but I am scared to death of either losing him to drink or having to divorce him, which I don't feel led to do. God wants me to stand in the gap for him but I am afraid!
