Father, when we have experienced hurt and disappointment in past relationships, it is very hard to overcome the anxiety that occurs when we enter into a new one. Father bring healing to theresa from the wounds experienced in the past that she might walk in confidence of your love for her. Give her your wisdom that she might learn to trust and to hope without fear. Keep her open to your guidance that she might radiate and telegraph her completeness in you to the world and to this man that she loves. Open the door to his heart that she might find her place within it that you have created just for her. Bring them together Lord not on their own version of love...but in the fullness of the definition that was given to us by your own sacrifice and that of your Son. Father...increase her joy through the companionship of this man that has touched her heart. In Jesus name...Amen!
