Please pray for my marriage. My husband James has grown into a controlling and bitter person, one that I can't even recognize. I'm afraid to say anything to him because it might set him off but if I don't say anything, he still gets mad. Today he sent me a text that said that since he can't do right for me, our kids or life then he says he thinks it's best if he left, so he did. My kids are devastated, I am devastated. I don't know what to do. He won't answer his phone or texts from me or our kids. This is not right. It's tearing our family to shreds. I don't know if this is the way it's supposed to be when menopause starts, or if it's mid age crisis or financial worries. I just want him to come back home. If we need to go to a counselor, so be it. Anything to save our home.
Please Lord, bring the love, respect, happiness and peace back into my home. Make my husband be the loving man he was and remove his bitterness and controlling ways. Help me to be more patient and help my children (17 & 14) forgive him for the pain he's causing our family
