~ HAPPY FATHERS DAY ~
Before Jesus Christ walked the earth, we could only refer to God as "father", metaphorically. Because of Jesus, we can now refer to God literally as our father. It is more personal and reflects the relationship God wants to have with us.

Because of him, those of us who accept it, are all considered sons and daughters of the king. Fathers day is not a religious or biblical holiday, it is a man made holiday, but it is the perfect day to honor him, simply because he has accepted us as his own children, and he is our father. What an awesome privilege that is.

To all you dad's out there: "HAPPY FATHERS DAY!" If you want to be the best dad, first learn to be a good son.
