"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable -- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy -- think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me -- put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." (Philippians 4:6-9 NIV)

_God wants you to have true peace by having you not worry - about anything (act of thinking)

_God wants you to have true peace by praying - about everything (act of doing)

_God wants you to have true peace by meditating on what is holy (act of thinking)

_God wants you to have true peace by putting into practice what you have learned from reading the Bible. (act of doing)

IF YOU ARE NOT SAVED.....

KNOW THAT YOU ARE A SINNER

Sin separates you from God and causes a lack of peace. The Bible says, "All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God." Jesus said, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life," (John 3:16). God gave His very Son to die in our place. As the Apostle Paul said, "He loved me and gave Himself for me..." (Romans 3:23).

REPENT OF YOUR SIN
The Bible tells us to "repent and be converted." The word "repent" means to change our direction in life. Instead of running from God, we run toward Him.

RECEIVE JESUS INTO YOUR LIFE
Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church on Sunday. It is having Jesus Christ Himself taking residence in your heart and life. Jesus said, "Behold I stand at the door (of your life) and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in..." (Revelation 3:20).
If you will open the "door" of your heart to Jesus and welcome Him in, He will forgive your offenses against God and immediately take up permanent residence in your life. As you call upon Him, He will provide daily strength to meet life's challenges, and will ensure your safe arrival in Heaven when this life is completed.
