RE: Feeling very ill

Deuteronomy 28:3 / Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.

You may have heard of people who think that to receive God's blessings, they have to move to a new home, work for a certain company or even migrate to another country. The truth is that it is not the place that gets you the blessings, but whether God’s blessing is on you. And for you my dear sister, child of God, you are already blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 1:3) He has paid for your blessings with His blood. It was in the city of Jerusalem that Jesus was whipped, cursed and spat on. And it was outside the city on Calvary’s hill that He was pierced and crucified. That is why you are blessed in the city as well as outside in the country. In fact, you are blessed regardless of your location. Perhaps you work in a non-Christian company and your boss doesn’t quite like you. In fact, he sometimes mistreats you. But God can still bless you in spite of your boss. You get blessed because you believe God for it. It has nothing to do with your boss or the company. My dear sister, if you don’t see the blessings, check what you have been believing and saying. Some people complain and blame everyone and everything around them — their parents, race, gender, environment and government — for their lack of blessings. My dearest sister, I want you to believe and confess that you are blessed because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross, not because you are of a certain race or work in a certain place. It does not matter where you work or live, what color your skin is or what you do for a living. If God blesses you, you are blessed. And it is all because of Jesus. So say to yourself, “I am blessed wherever I am — blessed in the city, blessed in the country.”

In regards to taking up our cross, yes, we are to take our cross daily. To live for Christ takes a strong commitment. There are so many christians in the world whose commitment to Christ is shallow. Jesus talked about these shallow Christians in Matthew 10:38 and it reads, "And he that taketh not his cross and follows after Me is not worthy of Me." Let me explain, we all have a cross, and that cross is that we imitate Christ as we live in this world, and to follow Christ is living the way He requires us to live. This cross we take up, is not Jesus' cross, it is our cross. Jesus already took up His cross, His cross was to provide Salvation for mankind, and He did that and is now in Heaven sitting on the Right Hand of the Throne of God, willing to help us carry our cross. But, before Christ can help us carry our cross, we must first take up our cross and be willing to follow Him. To take up our cross means to be willing to publicly identify with Him (not ashamed to call Him Savior) of which I know that you are not ashamed of, to face almost certain opposition, such as our beliefs in the world standards on life, such as, Atheism, Homosexuality, Abortion, Cults, and False Religions, again I know you strongly believe and fight for. These things can make true Christians very unpopular and this is why you are under spiritual attack. In other words, the devil don't like you but rejoice because you have Jesus with you and the devil has already been defeated. You see, the devil roar like a lion and that's all he can do to you because you are covered by the Blood of Jesus, the lion cannot bite you. Also in taking up your cross you must be willing to face suffering and death for Christ's Sake. Some people believe living for Christ is too much or too hard to do, they believe that Christ's requirements are too high. I say this to all of us, every single one of us are willing to pay a high price for something we value. Well, what Christ is offering is of greater value than anything in this whole world, are you surprise that He is asking a High Price for eternal life in heaven? Christ is only asking you to fully commit this life you live to Him. It is no surprise to me that Christ demands a full commitment to Him, because in that commitment Christ requires certain things. Jesus said in John 16:33 and it reads, " These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace, in the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world." For instance, Jesus said in Matthew 9:23 and it reads, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow me." Not only are we to take up our cross, but we must do it daily, that means every day, all day. We must be willing to deny self, such as, denying our selfish desires to use our resources of time and money our own way, and to choose our own direction in life. Following Christ is total submission, anything less is superficial lip service. Although following Christ may be costly now, trust God, in the long run, it is well worth the pain and effort. Corinthians 4:17 and it reads, " For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. " Paul is saying whatever we are going through in this life is nothing, and compared to our eternal life with Christ, what we are going through down here only last for a short time (which is but for a moment). Now here is the amazing thing, what little suffering we are going through down here is working for us in heaven. God Is So Good! Just stand firmly in the Lord my dear sister, I feel it in my spirit that God has something big surprise for you soon for being faithful to Him and most of all God is faithful with all his promises to you. Get excited now and starts praising Him.

P.S.
This is what I did when we had a very loud ungodly neighbor(s). First, I tried doing it my way and it cost us a lot of money, time and effort to fight against them legally. My way didn't really work and problems still reoccuring. One option is to move out again and at that time we didn't have the time to do it and our children would have to change school again. I was getting tired of moving. So what I did is I gave everything to God the Father, I repented for my actions against my neighbors even though they were very ungodly. I forgot that God created them too and who am I to say that they are unworthy. I don't know what God's plan for them. So I ask God to forgive me and I turned everything to Him because we were getting tired of going to court one after another for different incidents. They used to harass me, my husband, beat up one of my son, we had to call the police all the time and thank God we had the favor from the police personel. We live in an upper middle class neighborhood and yes we had some unfriendly neighbors. I prayed this simple prayer for our loud, mean, unfriendly neighbors; "Father, in the name of my Lord and Savior - Jesus, I ask you to forgive me for not loving my neighbors and I pray that you would fulfill their destiny that you intended for them to do for your glory. Bless them Father, more than you blessed me. Amen".

After I prayed this prayer, within 3 months all of them moved out. This prayer works all the time in different situations but you have to mean it from your heart. Believe my dearest sister in Christ Jesus, I have been through the fire and I had no one else besides me to comfort but the Holy Spirit. Oh, how I love the Holy Spirit who helped me to know God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. He helped me pray to the Father and worshipped in the Spirit. I will keep praying for you always. Remember, no matter what's happening around you - YOU ARE BLESSED!
