I have been in this position many time, I have been through three jobs this year alone. In my current job, which is teaching kids in their homes, I have had to walk over a drunken grandfather passed out on the floor. Last week I had to teach a kid who's father had just tried to kidnap him fifteen minutes before I got there, not to mention he wants to kill his ex wife. There is a reason that God has me walking this path. I may be miserable with my current job but I have brought joy to the children I work with. I've brought them a little peace from the lives that they are living. Sometimes it's not about what is going to make us happy but the way we influence and effect others where we work. God works through us, I believe this with all my heart. I make my own happiness when I get home from work and on the weekends. I'm almost finished with my students and have hope that I will find something better, someplace I will be happy but if I'm not, I try to see what it is God wants me to do or learn.

Dear Heavenly Father, guide us to find jobs where we can be productive and happy. Lord we work so that we can support ourselves and our families, please bless us so that we may do this in peace. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen!
