Lord, I pray that my mom find some peace and comfort. My parents have been divorced for 10 years now, and she still has not found peace with it. She suffers periods of loneliness and depression. I ask that you please send her comfort, and the ability to forgive and allow herself to be happy alone. She seems to be struggling more than usual this Christmas season.

I also pray for the opportunity for my mom to meet with someone new. I hate the thought of her living the rest of her life alone. Please place someone in her life that will bring her joy and happiness.

Father, lift this woman out of her depression and draw her close. Help her Lord to know that for now you will be her spouse. Let her find her joy that she might draw one to her who is also filled with a joyful countenance that would desire to share his life with her. Let her remember the miracle message of Christmas...that the Savior of the World was born and would later die for her. Let her measure her worth in those terms...not by her singleness. May she feel the love of the Lord and of this child who seeks prayer for her this year and know just how precious she is to them both. In Jesus name...Amen!

Precious Jesus, I lift this mother up to You. Lord, ease the burden that she is carrying. Heal her of this depression. I pray that she has given her life to You. I pray that she will always be found serving You. Lord, fill her life with good Christian friends that will be a light to her. In this I ask in Your name,Jesus.Amen.
